This mainly happened since I started to work as a freelancer. I didn't realize back then, that going freelancing would affect my blogging. Going freelance was the best decision I made in terms of financially comfort and free time. I'd recommend it to anyone how can really evaluate themselves and figure out they have what it takes to make it as a freelancer as opposed to a employee.
One might ask oneself what has this guy been up to for the past 1 year and a half. Well, you can find out now what I've been up to:
Slice'r'us
Back in March 2007, I've started a small XHTML&CSS slicing service: slicerus.com.
XHTML Challenge
On February 2008, an old project of mine went live: xhtmlchallenge.com. I started this project because I wanted to have a place to check up sites quickly markup-wise. There's a lot of CSS galleries out there, but not many look under the hood at the code and check them out.
The various facts about the sites challenged are analyzed in the background after submission, and periodically after that. The thumbnails of the sites are taken from a 3rd party provider.
I've had quite a number of reviews posted on the web about the project, the first of which was Nick's.
Both sites are created using a selfmade PHP framework that I've developed over the course of the last couple of years.
Future
What does the future hold for my weblog? I can't say exactly. I won't remove it, that's for sure. I'll keep it here on my site, as an archive. I may start blogging again in the future, or seldom when I find something worth sharing. Until then, bye-bye!
